Hey, Texas high school students: discover what's out there on a free road trip through your region of the state!

We’re Roadtrip Nation, and we send people on road trips in our green RV to talk to their heroes, job crushes, and anyone who’s doing generally awesome stuff. We film it all and turn it into a show to inspire people to pursue their interests!

This time, fueled by Texas OnCourse, we’re sending high school students from Texas on road trips to talk to inspiring post-secondary students and working professionals throughout their region of the state.

If you’re a high schooler in Texas, it might seem like you’re facing an insane number of choices right now—it’s time to choose adventure. Hit the road with us, and get excited for what’s to come!

Essential Details

  • Individuals who are currently enrolled in high school in the state of Texas may apply.
  • Applicants must have parental consent to submit this application.
  • Applicants must be available to commit to several days of travel in October/November 2017. If chosen, you’ll get to travel in one of the Roadtrip Nation RVs, exploring college and career pathways throughout your region of Texas. We will work with your schedule, but you may have to miss a few days of school.
  • Individuals who are chosen will help plan the trip around their interests, preferred areas of study, and career aspirations. This means you’ll be helping Roadtrip Nation research and book interviews with the people that you want to talk to!
  • This is for a documentary, so you’ll be filmed, and the footage may be shared on public television and other video platforms.
  • All travel expenses, plus a daily stipend for food, are paid for by Roadtrip Nation.
  • Students will be accompanied by a Roadtrip Nation chaperone.
